"So" is one of our top ten albums of all time and Peter Gabriel was a big influence for both of us as young musicians and songwriters. This is the second time we have tackled this song as it made the very first pressing of our first cover album, Beneath The Covers. However, Roman was unhappy with his arrangement and performances the first time that it didn't make the second pressing of Beneath The Covers: A Rediscovery. This time around, he stuck a little more closely to the original parts but transposed the Tony Levin bass part to acoustic guitars. The outro is pure Gypsy Soul though, with lots of counter melodies and a darker more driving feel with a soaring guitar solo.
